Last week, we attended Macworld/iWorld 2014 in San Francisco. We were even lucky enough to be accompanied by our ScanSnap Squad member and resident Mac expert, Lorene Romero. We’ve been attending this Apple-lovers conference for as long as I can remember, or at least since 2010. Last year, ScanSnap was even an audience favorite, and was recognized with the Macworld Best of Show award.

Contest Recap

While giving live demos at the booth and interacting with media members can be great fun, I find the interactions on social media to be the most entertaining, interesting, and rewarding. We love holding contests for our Twitter followers during these conferences so that even if you aren’t able to attend, you can participate and feel as if you’re at the booth with us! This year’s ScanSnap Macworld contest was especially great because not only were we offering a ScanSnap SV600, an iX500, and an S1100 as prizes, but we were also able to offer a year of Evernote Premium from our great partner, as well.

We were thrilled to see our followers answering questions about the history of Apple, Apple products, and beloved iOS apps usable while scanning. I was impressed with how many people knew the locations of Apple flagship stores, and even learned about a few new organization apps I’ll have to try out. We received more than 200 unique responses on Twitter for the contest and have already randomly selected three winners. Congrats to first place winner Diane Bassette, second place winner Rod Siu, and third place winner Kalok Ho!

Thanks for participating in this year’s Macworld contest and if you didn’t get lucky this time, be sure to check back in Twitter and Facebook for our next chance to win!
