Our family tradition in February is to create handmade Valentine’s to mail to family and friends to celebrate Valentine’s Day. This year I thought it might be fun for my kids to create only one handmade Valentine with their photos and various craft supplies we had on hand. After completed, I scanned the card with my ScanSnap S1500M placed in a carrier sheet to create an electronic card. I plan to send the Valentine jpeg image below via email on Valentine’s Day. I think this is an easy alternative to get a personal message out to many family members and friends and also allows me to save on stamps, supplies, and time. This might be a tradition that I will adapt for all holidays throughout the year and my kids will have fun creating the cards too!
