Using Gillware Remote Backup with Fujitsu ScanSnap
Fujitsu ScanSnap and Gillware Remote Backup work together seamlessly to create a paperless office with the highest level of security and assurance that your electronic documents will never be lost.
Gillware Remote Backup is as easy to use as ScanSnap. In short, when you create a document with ScanSnap, Gillware is configured to automatically protect it.

When you put a paper document into ScanSnap, you choose what kind of document you would like to create – a Word document, for instance, or perhaps a PDF or an Excel spreadsheet. No matter what you choose, Gillware remote backup will encrypt and compress a copy of this file and send it to a secure SAS 70 data center.
Your file will remain encrypted and compressed at a modern day fortress. It will be transmitted in a more secure manner than credit card information travels over the internet, and once it is at the data center, it will remain encrypted and compressed.
If you update the file, each version that you create will be protected. You can retrieve earlier versions.
In addition to protecting the files you create through ScanSnap, Gillware Remote Backup can protect your other Office documents, photos and files.
It is easy to customize which files get backed up, and how often.
Icon overlays show which files are marked for backup, and whether the current version has been backed up.
You can right click on any file and backup instantly on demand.
Here is what it looks like when you right click on any file when you are running Gillware Backup:

In the picture above, the Company File.docx has been backed up, as indicated by the green check mark icon overlay. The exclamation point in the yellow box indicates the most recent version of the file has not yet been backed up.
If for any reason you do not wish to back up particular files or file types, you can exclude them from the automatic backup schedule.
Otherwise, Gillware Remote Backup will make sure that you do not have to remember to make copies or upload your important files. It will take care of it, and make sure your files are protected with the highest level of security and privacy.
