The 19th Annual Mac Computer Expo Is Happening This Weekend!

Have you heard about the 19th annual Macintosh Computer Expo? You haven’t?! Well then, you are surely missing out, but don’t worry, you still have time to get it on your calendar!

The 19th Annual Mac Computer Expo (MCE), the second largest west coast Mac Expo after Macworld, will offer a full day of Mac and iOS tips, tricks, advice and hands-on demos this coming Saturday, October 6 at the Petaluma Community Center. Admission is just $10 at the door, and $7 in advance via the event website.

Speakers include Mac authors Christoper Breen, Derrick Story, Tom Negrino, and podcaster Jeff Gamet. Throughout the day there will be sessions offering something for both novices and experts alike.

Topics include the following:

  • Nine iPad Apps You Can’t Live Without
  • Parenting in the Mobile Internet Age
  • Leaping into iCloud
  • Get Roaring with Mountain Lion
  • Online Reputation Management: Tools to Help You Protect Your Name
  • Blindfolded! Accessibility on the Mac and iOS Devices
  • Ditch Paper, Go Digital
  • Women In Technology Panel

And for you photo aficionados:

  • Turn Your iPhone Into the Ultimate Point-And-Shoot Camera
  • Making the Move From iPhoto to Aperture
  • Getting Creative With Photoshop

But wait there’s more. Bert Monroy, a nationally known author, speaker and artist will be displaying his work, on stage. He will also be speaking at MCE.
