1. What is the difference between the iX500 and iX500 Evernote?

The Standard iX500 uses Fujitsu ScanSnap Manager Software. It has a quick menu that allows users to scan to various applications such as email, print, folder, mobile, cloud (Evernote, Dropbox, etc.), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additionally, the iX500 comes with CardMinder to scan business cards, ScanSnap Receipt software, and ScanSnap Organizer to organize your PDFs and JPEGs. 2. Can I use the Evernote Software with my Standard iX500?
The Standard iX500 only works with ScanSnap Manager software, however you can scan directly into Evernote using the QuickMenu or by creating a profile. All you need to do is make sure you have the Evernote Application on your computer’s Desktop.
3. How do I save documents in Evernote and a folder with my iX500 Evernote Edition?
Start by clicking on your ScanSnap Manager Evernote Icon, then click on the gear to select settings. In settings under the general tab you will see the option to “Save copies of scanned files to:” Check this box and select the folder you would like to send the files to.
4. How do I check how many pages I’ve scanned and if there are software updates?
Start by clicking on your ScanSnap Manager Evernote Icon, then click on the gear to select settings. Once the settings window is open go to the information tab. This tab will show you a page counter, what software version is running, if there are updates, and other information. 5. How do I turn on continuous scanning?
Start by clicking on your ScanSnap Manager Evernote Icon, then click on the gear to select settings. In settings under the general tab you will see the option to turn on continuous scanning, select the checkbox and you’re ready.
