By default, ScanSnap is configured to scan documents face down like a fax machine. But ScanSnap is configurable so if you prefer to place your documents face-up in the automatic document feeder, it only takes one simple change to your S1500 settings to prepare ScanSnap for your scanning method and automatically reorder your images correctly for trouble-free face-up scanning.

First, double-click on the ScanSnap icon in your system tray to open ScanSnap Manager, then go to the “Scanning” tab and click on the “Option” button.
