Sometimes operators want to see the content they have just scanned in a preview window when using ScanSnap. However some users may find this an unnecessary step and even an annoyance if all that they wish to do is save the file without interruption.

ScanSnap provides Mac users a way to scan without previewing the content. Operators can create a special profile to quickly transition to this efficient style of scanning by following the steps below.

First, open ScanSnap Manager and uncheck ‘Use Quick Menu’. Click on ‘Profile’ and select ‘Create a Profile’ to make a new profile with the new settings. In this example, we’ll name the new profile ‘Scan to File,’ but you can name it anything you like.
