How do I setup the Scan to FTP Folder feature of the Fujitsu Network Scanners?
N1800 Users
- Ensure that the user has access permission to the FTP Server folder
- Verify the following:
- That the server has the latest Central Admin Server installed
- That the scanner has the latest available system firmware installed. - Configure the Scan to FTP settings on the N1800
- Login as Admin and go to [Network Settings] > [FTP Server Folder] > [FTP Server Folder]
- Click on Add and enter the following:
* Folder Alias (Name)
* Path to folder
* Port (Typically 21 for non secure)
* Set authentication (Username and Password)
* FTP protocol to be used
* Passive mode
* Encryption mode
* Proxy server (if being used) - Verify all Scan to FTP settings are correct on the scanner, then click [OK] and after the scanner validates with the FTP server the FTP folder will be added.
- Exit Admin mode and log in as the user to verify Scan to FTP operation.Reference: N1800 User Manual - Section 4.12.2.
fi-6010N Users
- Ensure that the user has access permission to the FTP Server folder
- Verify the following:
- That the server has the latest Central Admin Server installed
- That the scanner has the latest available system firmware installed. - Configure the Scan to FTP settings on the Fi-6010N
- Login as Admin and go to [Network Settings] > [Network Folder]
- Click on Add
* Click on FTP path and enter the following:
* Folder Alias (Name)
* Path to folder
* Username and password
* Set authentication method
* FTP protocol to be used
* Port (Typically 21 for non secure)
* Passive mode
* Encryption mode
* Proxy server (if being used) - Verify all Scan to FTP settings are correct on the scanner, then click [OK] and after the scanner validates with the FTP server the FTP folder will be added.
- Exit Admin mode and log in as the user to verify Scan to FTP operation.Reference: fi-6010N User Manual - Section 4.17.14.
