Spring cleaning is quickly approaching, and for some of you that may mean finally getting those old physical family photos online. This will preserve photo quality before the physical prints deteriorate, allow you to keep the images safe from damage, and share the memories widely. You can find a useful post on how to scan photos with the iX500 here.

But who says you have to wait until March 20th, the official start of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere? After recently getting snowed in by the enormous mid-Atlantic storm dubbed “Snowzilla”, ScanSnap Squad member Penny Catterall scanned boxes of old photos that had been sitting in her basement for the past 10 years. You can see her blog post, which includes scanning and digital organization tips here.
Best of luck as you unbox those old memories and back them up with ScanSnap!
The rep could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. She was perfect. And I want to tell you that my S1300i scanner is the most wonderful, useful, practical, terrific tool, appliance or machine I have ever owned. I use it many times each day, and it never fails. It improves my business days. I never travel without it. I traveled the country in my motorhome for a year this last year, and never missed a beat. none of my clients even knew I wasn’t my desk! Thank you for creating such a great tool!
